The headrails are shaped to follow the outline of the window frame, whatever that may be and colour co-ordinated with the choice of slat. The slats are then hand shaped within the headrail section to close in whichever way has been decided – either downwards or upwards, with the shaped ends both ways are not possible. If there is a straight section below, the slats will draw up to where the headrail starts.

25mm aluminium slat is available in a vast rainbow of colours including metallic, wood grained effect as well as patterned, reflecting all the latest fashion and style trends. The slat has to be of a good quality and thickness in order to support itself within the shape.

Only the best woodslat can be made into shaped blinds as it does not shatter or split whilst we are shaping and sanding the ends. Once linished the ends are stained to blend in with the rest of the wood.
We use the Uniwand manual control mechanism, where the cords run down the centre of the wand. This has a universal joint so that it always hangs down straight.

Depending on the shape, these can sometimes be motorised using Coulisse motors.
